Cache Bring Miami Heat to Toronto

Lula Lounge
November 22, 2008
As we arrived at Lula Lounge after an icy walk downtown, we were greeting with a portal to Miami Beach – it actually felt like walking into a warm and cozy lounge on Ocean Drive. The dance floor was sizzling as the dancers new and professional hit the floor showing their moves from the earlier dance lesson that evening.

Cache doesn’t just capture the essence of Lula Lounge with their larger than life stage presence and warm vibrant flare, they have succeeded in getting the dancers coming back on a regular basis for more of the band’s friendly demeanor and hot Spanish tunes.

Percussionist, Daniel Stone, later showed us his battle scars from playing with such heart on the congas – splitting palms! It’s amazing the energy and passion Cache has on stage. Using a variety of instrumentation from baby bass, vibraphone, congas, and trombone it’s no wonder you can’t keep from dancing when you hear them play. Frontman Juan Carlos Cardenas looked completely at ease dancing up a storm and shaking his hips and hands to the beat. The best part about the band is the fusion of sound mixes with the band’s desire to enjoy themselves on stage as much as their audience enjoys watching them. This motivation truly delivers a memorable performance and gets the best rhythms spiraling out to the people at the hottest Latin lounge in Toronto.
