Betty Moon

Album Title: Doll Machine
Release Date: 2003
Rating:
Genre: Rock
At first listen, I thought of Biff Naked. Then I got smarter and knew Betty was on a level all her own, especially with tracks like "Hunger Pain". The music is interesting, able to be lathered, rinsed and repeated with a sexy fresh edge each time. Percussion really gives the band a kick, but Betty's vocals bring it forward on 'Older', which is a surprising flipside to the rest of the CD, it carries a more sympathetic and jazzy spirit which shows off the bands range.
