The Libertines

Album Title: Up the Bracket
Release Date: October 2002
Rating:
Genre: Rock
With the sheer energy of The Jam, and the style of The Strokes, The Libertines have produced a superb debut album. 'Time For Heroes' boasts vocals reminiscent of a young Paul Weller, self-titled track 'Up The Bracket' creates the punk rock the rest of the album aspires to. Each track adds to the thrashy East London scene the four piece originate from. If you've lost your love and faith in music the end won't be long if in this case that certainly won't be happening.
