Future of Forestry

Genre: Rock
There's a big epic sound contained on Twilight. The 12-track disc is San Diego-based band Future of Forestry's first full-length, and they approached the effort with full force. The rock quartet has got sustainer pedals hooked up to their guitars, and the thoughtfully penned lyrics are emoted by lead vocalist Eric Owyoung like his life depends on it. They've also got a good handle on the radio-friendly single format, with every song on the album clocking in around the four minute mark. Overall, Future of Forestry has created a really beautiful, lush, well-produced piece of art, and it shan't be long before they have large crowds of fans holding their cellphones in the air. With its wistful tone and chanting overdubs, the title-track is the standout song on the albumóbut go ahead and listen to all of them.
