Before Adie Camp put out her solo debut, the South African-born songstress went through more than a few major life changes. Camp's old band, The Benjamin Gate, threw in the towel; she also got married and had two kids. And although she didn't initially plan to go it alone in the music world, it's got to be hard to stop cold turkey. Especially when one has spent a good chunk of one's life in the Christian rock business, and is married to a fellow CCM musician (that'd be Jeremy Camp).

Thus, Don't Wait came about. Adie is unequivocally a Christian artist, and her sweet vocals belt out songs of praise with richness and strength. Don't Wait was produced in part by Adie's husband, and the singer herself wrote or co-wrote eight of the ten tracks. One song notably not written by Adie is "Turn Turn Turn," which is, of course, a cover of the classic Byrds tune. Adie's simple and to-the-point version renders the song beautifulówith a little extra punch from the rhythm section for added effect.
