Eliot Morris

Album Title: What's Mine is Yours
Release Date: 2006
Genre: Indie Pop
What's Mine is Yours comes after polishing his skills on a self titled and under-the-radar album, and it was well worth the wait. Morris is a very accomplished songwriter with standout lyrics like, "with the strength of a thousand voices/I want to believe that my life will affect some choices" and with the driving drum beat of "This Colorful World" "My world was closing in/so I thought I'd take things outside the walls that had gotten thin".

His aching vocals sing "I will try for you, if you will try for me" and encapsulates the album, a give and take between him and his audience. So whether you're looking for introspection or melodic pop, Morris delivers both with ease, but as his bio informs us, making it look easy takes a lot of hard work that was well worth the wait.
