Wilderness of Tekoa

Album Title: The Skies Pale in Comparison
Release Date: November 2006
Genre: Rock
Elegantly crafted soundscapes of this Florida-based band draw you in and leave you mesmerized by the passionate emphasis and falsetto bits delivered by frontman Nic DiPace that bring a refreshing variety throughout the album. Playing from everyone from My Chemical Romance to Audio Adrenaline, they break down barriers and go for the honesty in performance. The lyrics read like modern psalms and journal entries full of metaphor and personality. "One at a Time" says "innocent eyes/they bleed all the time/they bleed from the crimes/of the media mind//." For anyone with an appreciation of well-crafted songs outside of stereotype, the Wilderness of Tekoa is an excellent place to be found.
