Paul Rivard

Album Title: Paul Rivard
Release Date: 2005
Genre: Singer-Songwriter
Some of you may know Paul Rivard from his outstanding performance with Petra when guitarist Bob Hartman was delayed in New Jersey, others may know him from his performances with such acts as Bryan Duncan and Point of Grace, but most of all Rivard has a heart for bringing hope to Canadians with all he does within the music industry.

Tight hooks on guitar and Rivard's passionate vocals come through on each track. Stand outs include "I Feel Alive" where Rivard discusses how he was lead away from a life of addictions to healing from God, and "Days of Youth" has a great opening, which I could have seen in a more prog rock setting. There are also some guest appearances on the CD, Jackie Ungar sings a duet (He is Real) and Paul's niece, Chantel does an excellent job on the bridge part on "Home Again". Above all, the album is a reflection of the growth through past struggles and showcases how far we all can come when we seek Him.
