Two years to the month after their break-up, veteran California punk band Face To Face have put the final nail in the proverbial coffin with the release of this 21-song career retrospective. Packed with all the band's greatest hits, a few live songs, and two previously unreleased tracks ("Thick As a Brick" and "Disconnected"), Shoot The Moon: The Essential Collection will bring a simultaneous tear and smile to the faces of Face To Face fans everywhere.

Although they've been around for fifteen years and released a slew of albums, Face To Face remain one of the lesser known punk bands for some mysterious reason. Shoot The Moon shows that they had just as much to offer the disaffected youth as NOFX or the Offspring. The main difference between Face To Face and their contemporaries though, is that they've decided not to run their band into the ground, and instead chose to leave a definitive collection that new generations of fans can use as a jumping off point. And that's just what they've done with Shoot The Moon.
