Taste of Christmas

Album Title: Taste of Christmas
Release Date: November 8, 2005
Genre: Rock
We've all heard the traditional Christmas songs and musicians who have always sung them. Well now for something completely different this holiday season we've got "Taste Of Christmas". This compilation features 18 tracks covering both Christmas past and brand new holiday recordings that may soon be added to your list of favorites. Featured artists include The Used, Funeral For A Friend, Skindred, My American Heart, Emery and many more. The majority of the songs on this album were specially created for this project with a few being recorded during this past summer's Warp Tour in the back of the Opiate's tour bus.

Christmas classics like, "We Three Kings" and "First Noel", take a new shape with a killer edge and the Street Drum Corps version of John Lennon's "Happy Christmas" featuring The Used's Bert McKracken as a special highlight to the CD. There are some real let downs that don't really seem to get you in the joyous Christmas atmosphere but the majority does a great job.

If you want an alternative to the normal classics this Christmas, these new rock holiday performances may be for you.
