Forever Changed

Album Title: The Need to Feel Alive
Release Date: March 8, 2005
Genre: Pop Punk
Warped Tour alumni, Forever Changed, take their sound from the summer stage to cold plastic on "The Need To Feel Alive", the Florida quartet's debut album. Flowing, melodic choruses and shout-sung verses, the boys play pop infused punk a la Simple Plan with hints of Dashboard Confessional-style emo thrown in for good measure. In short, Forever Changed wants you to feel their joy, and more importantly, feel their pain. Veering away from the completely typical, the band makes use of haunting piano and violins alongside the crashing symbols and prominently featured bass lines. Lead singer Dan Cole also displays impressive vocal range considering the type of music the band plays - check out highlight tracks "Romance in Denial" and "Knowledge".
