Sleep Station

Album Title: After the War
Release Date: May 17, 2004
Genre: Alternative
Reminiscent of Pink Floyd and Elliot Smith in their title track, "After the War", Sleep Station takes you from samples to marching drums and back to a steady rock track like "Caroline, London 1940". The whole CD is structured like a narrative long before you find out it was first intended to be the score to a film. Frontman Dave Debiak takes the band and his inspiration through the events of WWII rather than everyday bar stories, which is a great break and add of intelligence to rock n roll.
