The man who has become the link between East and West music brings his hybrid music to the Ottawa Folk Festival. Saltspring Island resident Harry Manx mixes Blues with Indian folk music to create musical stories.

On August 29 Manx will participate in two seminars as a part of the four day festival. Blues Without Borders gets underway at 12:15pm and the Folk Roots/ Folk Branches begins at 2:45pm. Later on August 29 Harry Manx and his band Urban Turban will perform at 9pm.

The album "West Eats Meet" was released earlier this year and is Manx's fifth recording.
