Joel Kroeker Becomes Headliner

Published: 2004-08-11
All too often the term overnight success is used to describe an artist who has finally seen his music career get somewhere. Joel Kroeker shows the world that a lot of hard work and endless traveling and touring is what makes a musician successful.

A year ago Joel Kroeker was an opening act at Hugh's Room in Toronto. Since then Kroeker has toured extensively solo and with other musicians. On August 25 Kroeker is returning to Hugh's Room, but this time he will be the headliner. Kroeker is also scheduled to appear on Canada AM on August 24.

Recently Kroeker's music has been turning up all over the place. Two of his songs are included on the soundtracks for "Ham & Cheese" and "Life, Death, and Mini Golf". Kroeker is also seeing his music appear on the albums of other artists such as Lee Aaron, Micro Maureen and Patricia O'Callaghan.

Other Joel Kroeker appearances include:
August 20-22 Owen Sound – Summerfolk
August 27-29 Ottawa – Ottawa Folk Festival
