Live Aid Concert to be Released on DVD

Published: 2004-08-06
A concert that took place nearly 20 years ago and was conducted on two continents to help a third is once again creating a buzz. Sir Bob Geldof –
the creator of Live Aid – has finally consented to let the concert be put on DVD and sold. Lately there has been some controversy about what will appear on the DVD. Led Zepplin refused to allow the footage from their performance on the
DVD because of reported poor quality. Another performer – one Sir Paul McCartney – has entered the studio to re-record his performance so that it could be included on the DVD.
