The Clash Release 'London Calling'

Published: 2004-08-06
Some details as to what exactly what will be included on the Clash's twenty-fifth anniversary set "London Calling" have finally surfaced. The set will include three discs. The first disc is a re-mastered version of the album "London Calling". The second disc is a DVD of interviews and footage from the "London Calling" sessions. The third disc consists of demo tapes found by guitarist Mick Jones while looking through some boxes. The tapes – dubbed "The Vanilla Tapes" by fans – have been missing for 25 years. The tapes are the demo versions for the songs that became "London Calling". The tapes also include six unreleased songs and an alternate version for the song "London Calling". The three disc set "London Calling" will be released on September 21.
