Kathleen Edwards Makes Techno-History

Published: 2003-12-03
Canadian singer/songwriter Kathleen Edwards has released what is said to be the first CD/DVD combination disc. Edwards' US record label Zoe/Rounder released the disc using a new technology known as OneDisc. The CD is on one side and the DVD is on the other side. The amount of information makes the disc very dense which should also help prevent illegal disc duplication.

Two of the songs on the EP "Live at the Bowery" were recorded at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City on June 13, 2003. The DVD portion of the disc contains videos instead of live footage. Maplemusic.com will have a limited number of discs available for purchase.
