Norah Jones Moves Tour To Smaller Venues

Published: 2004-07-23
Less then a month before the North American tour to support her new album, Grammy winning Norah Jones has downgraded a number of her shows. The tour was scheduled to take advantage of the summer weather and the country's numerous amphitheatres. Jones has moved a number of the outdoor shows inside to smaller theatres. While the reason for the changes are not known, it is speculated that the move to smaller venues is tied to the overall lack of the sale of concert tickets this year. While making changes to the tour a few Canadian shows were added. The 53 city North American tour now includes four Canadian stops.

Norah Jones won five Grammy awards for her debut album "Come Away With Me" last year. When "Feels Like Home" was released in February the album sold over one million copies in the first week.

August 26 Ottawa – National Arts Centre
August 27 Toronto – Molson Amphitheatre
