Earlimart 'Trembles' With Anticipation

Los Angeles band Earlimart has finished recording their brand new record. The album, called 'Treble & Tremble', was recorded in the band's home state of California. The men behind the production of the album were none other than Earlimart's own Aaron Espinoza and Grandaddy's Jim Fairchild. 'Treble & Tremble' will be available to own on September 28th.

Although Earlimart hasn't found as much notoriety as their contemporaries, it doesn't mean that the band hasn't been around longer than most people realize. In fact, Earlimart has been hanging around since 1999 and has quickly built up their catalogue after being signed in 2000. The label that first picked up Earlimart was Devil In The Woods records, which allowed to the group to release two debut records simultaneously. It's hard enough to get one debut album, but with their unique approach to post-punk music, Earlimart secured two - 'Filthy Doorways' and 'Kingdom of Champions'.

The band then imploded. Obviously this sort of thing could hurt a band's future, but main man Aaron Espinoza (vocals/guitar) didn't let that stop him from continuing the band he put into being. Deciding to carry Earlimart on by himself, Espinoza went on to record and release both a five-track EP ('The Avenues') and an LP ('Everyone Down Here') in 2003. In order to create the music, Espinoza chose to put himself through 14 months of isolation. The loneliness that Espinoza felt as his band collapsed, in turn causing him to spend a year alone, runs rampant throughout both releases.

Which then leads up to today; Espinoza has recruited two others - Ariana Murray and Davey Latter - to flesh out the line-up of Earlimart once again (and perhaps help to alleviate his loneliness). The result is the impending 'Treble & Tremble', which will become Earlimart's fourth full-length album.
