Sonic Unyon Throws a Party

Published: 2003-12-01
Holiday time also means party time. Friends and family throw parties for each other. Businesses throw parties for associates and clients. When a record company has a party it is for the purpose of showing off the new talent to music industry types. However, this year the Hamilton based record company Sonic Unyon is changing the rules and throwing the party for music fans. The big Sonic Unyon Christmas party on December 12 will feature DJ's and bands like Raising the Fawn, A Northern Chorus, and Warsawpack. And since it's a record company party who knows who else may show up and play.

The party is for more than having a good time though. As a part of the ticket price - $5 – a canned good is required. The food will go to Good Shepherd for the needy. The Sonic Unyon Christmas party is on December 12 at Absinthe, 233 Kind St. East in Hamilton. It is a 19 years and over party.

Raising the Fawn will be at the Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto on December 2.
