Madrid Working on Next Album Release

"Although the technology serves as your canvas for expression, you can't lose sight of the human heart," said Adam Perry of Madrid. Perry met his Madrid band mate Duncan Christie during high school in Niagara Falls, Ontario.

The duo uses analog – no digital – synthesizers to create their music consisting of electronic tunes and sounds that create a pleasing sound to the ear. Perry and Christie rely on each other's emotions and love of their instruments to craft songs of warmth and emotion. Madrid's debut album entitled "Warm Waters" is an aptly named album that envelopes the listener with warm tones and sounds that are uplifting as well as relaxing. Yet, when on stage Madrid takes their music to an entirely different dimension – one of video projections, complex arrangements, and high energy.

Madrid is working on their next album which the band hopes will reflect the energy and excitement of two musicians who love what they do. "We want to make more of a morning album," said Christie. The album will be out some time in 2005.
