Rod Stewart Continues Songbook Tour

"From Maggie May to the Great American Songbook" covers nearly four decades of music. Earlier this year legendary rocker Rod Stewart launched a North American tour by that name. In July, Stewart will launch part two of the "From Maggie May to the Great American Songbook" tour. As the title suggests, Stewart will sing songs that span his legendary career. At nearly 60 the rocker shows no signs of slowing down. Stewart's last two albums both topped the million mark. "It Had to Be You… The Great American Songbook I" has sold four million copies to date and "The Great American Songbook II" has sold over two million copies to date. Before entering music the Scottish singer considered a career as a professional football player. Stewart still enjoys playing the game.
