'Two Shots' of Happy For Matt Dusk

Published: 2004-06-24
On June 22 Toronto native Matt Dusk released his debut album "Two Shots" with Decca/Universal Music. The title track was written for Frank Sinatra as a birthday present by U2 frontman Bono. The original rat pack member Sinatra died before he had the chance to record the song. But Sinatra would be pleased by Dusk's rendition of the song. Dusk has four previous independent releases.

In addition to a new album Matt Dusk will be a regular guest star on the newest Mark Burnett show "The Casino". Dusk will appear as himself and as a performer on the show.

With the release of "Two Shots" 25 year old Matt Dusk joins Michael Buble' and Jamie Cullum as a part of the modern day rat pack.

Matt will be on a national tour with the Canadian jazz festivals from June 23 to July 5 in Canada:

June 23 Winnipeg
June 25 Edmonton
June 26 Calgary
June 28 Regina
June 29 Saskatoon
July 1 Victoria
July 2 Vancouver
July 4 Ottawa
July 5 Montreal
