Oasis Release DVD and Record

Published: 2004-06-24
It may be a bit difficult to believe, but it's been ten years since Oasis dropped their debut album 'Definitely Maybe'. To celebrate the anniversary, the band has decided to release 'Definitely Maybe - The DVD' on September 6th (in the UK).

In addition to the original recording of the album (including a vinyl-only track), the DVD will feature an expansive look at the band and their career. Included will be footage of Oasis, and live performances of all 'Definitely Maybe' tracks. But it doesn't stop there; an hour long documentary with interviews of the band and those close to them will also be featured on the disc.

Basically the DVD will be jammed full with as much information about what became the fastest selling debut in history.

Not only will Oasis' first album see re-release this year, but the band is also working on putting out their newest album. The group has been recording their sixth studio album since the beginning of the year, working at numerous studios in Britain.

So far there has been no release date announced for the new album, but lucky fans will get to hear some new songs soon enough. Oasis is set to play at the legendary Glastonbury Festival this weekend, at which the band will perform two of their new songs.
