New Kings of Leon Album Finished

Published: 2004-06-22
Fans of the Kings of Leon can soon expect a new album to add to their collection. The Followill clan has been busy working in the studio since April recording. The session recently wrapped up, and the band successfully completed their sophomore effort. The 14 track 'A-Ha Shake Heartbreak' will be available for purchase later this year.

The first single to be lifted from the new disc is 'Bucket', which will be released in October. The Kings will be touring around Europe this summer, hitting all the major festivals, possibly even previewing the new record for the audience.

Harkening back to the days when southern rock dominated the airwaves, the Kings of Leon burst onto the scene in February of 2003 with their EP called 'Holy Roller Novocaine". The 5 track record caused the Kings to immediately go through the British hype machine, increasing anticipation for their first proper album. No one was disappointed by 'Youth & Young Manhood', which included almost all of the tracks featured on the EP.

The tracklisting of 'A-Ha Shake Heartbreak':

'Taper Jean Girl'
'The Bucket'
'King of the Rodeo'
'Still Nights So Long'
'4 Kicks'
'Pistol of Fire'
'Velvet Snow'
'Where Nobody Knows'
'Head To Toe'
'Dale Blues'
