NetBurn Features The Doors of the 21st Century

Did you love that concert so much that you could relive it over and over again? Or your favourite rock star isn't coming to a town near you but you'd live to have been there anyway? Well, now it's possible with DiscLive.

The folks at DiscLive who have in the past made CDs of live shows available to fans within minutes of a concert's conclusion have taken the next step and will offer downloadable versions of live concerts in a few hours of the show's completion. Using Netburn technology DiscLive will begin offering live concert downloads of selected concerts beginning June 18.

Recently DiscLive tested their new technology out with the Pixies' London concerts. The first official band to offer their live concert for download via DiscLive will be The Doors of the 21st Century. The downloads will be available for $20 on DiscLive –

Netburn contains technology that helps in preventing illegal file sharing even after the original download has been burned to a CD.

By DiscLive offering downloads of live concerts, they are providing the music industry with a creative new way to generate revenues – something the industry needs to survive.
