No More Suicide

Published: 2003-11-24
After receiving a number of letters from fans who said that they were contemplating suicide, the punk pop group Good Charlotte has used their latest single and video to tell people to "Hold On". Band members said that the suicide deaths of rock stars like Kurt Cobain also played a part in their decision to do the song. "Even if it's just one person, if it makes a difference in their life, it was worth the time, effort and money it took to make," said Good Charlotte singer Joel Madden.

The band joined forces with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention to make the video. The video contains shots of people whose lives were affected by suicide in one form or another.
