The Frenetics' Frantic Tour

Published: 2004-06-07
Montreal band the Frenetics are going to be very busy bees this June. Tomorrow (June 8th) the band kicks off a month long series of dates that will have them running all around the country. The band will be touring with a slew of other acts, including the Organ and Hot Little Rocket.

The Frenetics just released their newest full-length 'Grey Veins to the Parking Lot' on May 25th. The first single to be lifted off of the record is 'Plastic Surgery', with a video in the works. 'Grey Veins' is the band's second album; their debut, 'These Mistakes Took Years of Practice', was released in 2001 on the Union Label Group.

Singer/guitarist Malcolm Bauld, bassist Alex Seliger, and drummer Anne Gauthier formed the Frenetics in that long lost summer of 1999. It didn't take long for the band to find a label to call home, as Montreal's Grenadine Records picked up the trio quite quickly. The Frenetics then released their first record with the label, which came in the form of a six song EP entitled 'Scenery EP'.
