Vans Warped Tour Recycling Near You

Published: 2004-06-02
Vans Warped Tour '04 will be hitting a few Canadian cities while it makes its way across the continent this summer. The Tour will be kicking off on June 25th in Houston, Texas and won't be coming to a close until August 8th in Boston. In total Warped Tour will make stops in nearly 50 different North American towns.

For those sentimental types out there, it will warm you to know that this year of 2004 marks the 10th anniversary of the tour. It's just growing up before our very eyes.

With its wise old age, Warped Tour has even become more environmentally aware. Recycling containers will be provided at each venue, the staff will use biodegradable cutlery, and generators will only run on Bio Diesel. The punks of the world are just doing their bit to make the earth a little greener.

Many bands have joined the list of tree-hugging performers for the tour, including Canadians Alexisonfire, Billy Talent, Crowned King and Lillix. Some of the more notorious names on the bill include NOFX, Bad Religion, Anti-Flag and the Bouncing Souls. Other bands that will be sure to draw the crowds to the event are Good Charlotte, New Found Glory, Yellowcard and Simple Plan.

For those who are always one step ahead of the mainstream, bands like the Sounds, Coheed and Cambria, Thursday, and Taking Back Sunday will also be taking the stage. Prepare to be emo-ed out.
