Published: 2004-05-31
Washington native singer-songwriter guitarist Kenny Loggins started his career in music by writing songs for the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. "House at Pooh Corner" was the song that launched Loggins' career as a singer in his own right. In the 1980's Loggins became known as the king of movie soundtracks with hits from "Caddyshack", "Top Gun", "Footloose", and "Caddyshack II". As a solo artist and half of the duo Loggins and Messina, Kenny Loggins has collected 17 Gold albums and 12 Platinum albums.

Last August Loggins released his ninth solo album "It's About Time". The release was Loggins first album in six years.

Loggins is currently in the midst of a North American tour. Kenny Loggins only Canadian show is on August 21 at Casino Rama.
