Like so many other rock stars John Frusciante of the Red Hot Chili Peppers could not deal with the stardom that came with being in a successful rock band so he turned to drugs. After leaving the Peppers, Frusciante sought help. Back on track, Frusciane again joined the Peppers once more.
These days John Frusciante has found another way to channel all of his energy. Beginning next month, Frusciante – with the help of Josh Klinghoffer - will release a new album each month through the end of the year. All but one of the albums will be listed under Frusciante's name; the August release will carry the name Ataxia. Frusciante and Klinghoffer have said they will play all of the instruments themselves for their collaberations.
