Jim Morrison Still Stirring Up Trouble

Published: 2004-05-18
He has been dead for over 30 years but he is still stirring up trouble - albeit from beyond the grave. Jim Morrison's grave site in Pere Lachaise Cemetery is a pilgrimage for fans of Morrison and The Doors. Unfortunately some of those who visit the grave have no respect for the dead. As a result the manager of the 200 year old Paris cemetery would like to serve Morrison with eviction papers.

Jim Morrison died in 1971 of a heart attack. The musician was known as much for his drug and sexual exploits as he was for his musical ability.

I think it would be a shame to evict jim Morrison from his grave. It's understandable that some people are mad about the graffiti, but thats not Jim's fault. He was one of the greatest people who ever lived, or will ever live, and to evict him from his humble grave would be disrespectful for Jim.
