The Music's New Album Appearing Soon

Published: 2004-05-14
A few months more, and the world have another album by the Music. The band first headed into the studio in April and recently wrapped up the Atlanta, Georgia recording session with producer Brendan O'Brien (Ben Folds Five, Incubus, Pearl Jam). This marks the creation of the Music's second album, which still remains to be named. The new album is planned to be released in September of this year.

Hailing from Leeds, the Music released their self-titled debut in September of 2002. The album contained single 'Take The Long Road and Walk It', which received moderate playtime on radio and television stations across the country. Most of the band members were just 19 years old when the album dropped to rave reviews.

Although they have not had huge success in North America, the band did have a chance to strut their stuff for the Western crowds. The Music landed the lucky spot of opening slot for Coldplay on their world tour, which surely gained them legions of new fans. Touring is definitely one of the highlights of the Music experience, as lead singer Robert Harvey has gained much notoriety for his unique dance moves. Very, VERY unique dance moves; in fact they're much more seizure-ish than dance-like.
