Matchbox Twenty to Release DVD

Florida pop rockers Matchbox Twenty have shown that Mickey Mouse isn't the only big hit to come out of Orlando.

Matchbox Twenty was nothing more than a blip on the radar screen to the music critics, but the public felt otherwise. The band's debut album "Yourself or Someone Like You" went 10 times platinum and was presented with the Diamond Award by the RIAA. The Diamond Award is given only to albums that surpass the mark of 10 million copies sold.

The release of "Smooth" - which was co-written by Matchbox Twenty lead singer Rob Thomas - by Santana introduced Matchbox Twenty to a whole new group of fans.

On May 25 Matchbox Twenty will release a DVD. "Show: A Night in the Life of Matchbox Twenty" is a double disc DVD that contains the performance on June 28, 2003 at the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia; a 50 minute documentary; a photo gallery; and a feature for multiple camera angles option.
