Blackie and the Rodeo Kings: New Album

Published: 2004-05-03
The Canadian roots band Blackie and the Rodeo Kings started out as a cover band for Willie P. Bennett songs - all that has changed with the release of the band's third album "Bark". The new album contains all original songs from Blackie and the boys.

Blackie and the Rodeo Kings were seen most recently singing their latest single "Water or Gasoline" with Kathleen Edwards at the 2004 Juno Awards. Currently Blackie and the Rodeo Kings are preparing for a tour that will take them through central and western Canada. The band will open for country music legend Merle Haggard on many of the dates.
