The Burdocks:

Published: 2004-04-30
"Will They Make It?" is the title for The Burdocks new tour which begins tonight (Friday, April 30) in Montreal. The name for the tour also refers to the new tour vehicle that the band has acquired. Well maybe acquired isn't quite the correct term. Guitarist Seth Smith's father owns a salvage yard. Seth and Nancy Ulrich built this new tour vehicle from three old Italian trucks that were in the salvage yard themselves. The new van resembles an old ice cream truck.

The Burdocks tour takes them to the west coast and back - a good test for the mechanical skills of Smith and Ulrich.

The Burdocks are in the line up for the Over the Top Festival, will team up with The Evaporators in Nardwuar, and sponsor an open mic session in Red Deer. So, if the new tour bus holds up, the Halifax band will have a fun filled and memorable trip across Canada.
