Tina Turner Releases Best Of Album

Pop-rock songstress Tina Turner is releasing a best of compilation to go along with her upcoming tour. Turner's combination of soul, dance and rock music has made her one of the biggest selling and most influential artists of our time. Throughout the 60's and 70's Turner rose to fame with her husband Ike Turner and were praised by the likes of the Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Ray Charles and Elvis Presley. In the 80's, she came back stronger than ever with the 1984 album Private Dancer that featured the hit single "What's Love Got To Do With It".

With a slew of hit records under her belt Turner announced that her 2000 tour "Twenty Four Seven" would be her last. In 2004 she released a greatest hits record entitled All the Best. After a live performance on the Grammy's this spring Turner announced plans to come out of retirement for a comeback tour this fall. Along with the tour she announced yet another best of compilation entitled Tina! set to hit stores on September 30. The 18 tracks include the songs that she plans to play on the upcoming tour including two new tracks "It Would Be A Crime" and "I'm Ready".
