Jamie Lidell Prepares Fall Trek

Funk-soul, singer-songwriter Jamie Lidell is hitting the road this fall to promote his new record, Jim. The UK native is known for layering voice tracks on his records to act as both percussion and melody acting as a sort of one man beatboxing band. The multi-genre artist began his career in the late nineties and released his first full length album Muddlin Gear in 2000. Earlier this year he released his most recent album Jim. The disc came out with a regular and limited edition. The Limited Edition version included live recordings of "Multiply", "What's the Use", "What is it This Time?" and "Game for Fools".

Lidell will head out on a North American tour this fall kicking off with an appearance at the Austin City Limits Festival at the end of September and running till mid October. After that he will head back to Europe and continue touring, both as a headliner and as an opener for Elton John. Here's where he's Headed in Canada:
