Snow Patrol Album out this Fall

Irish alt-rockers Snow Patrol are set to release their latest record this fall. The band came together in 1998 and released Songs For Polarbears to minor success. Their third album, 2003's Final Straw catapulted the band to success with tunes like "Spitting Games", "Run" and "Chocolate". But it was their most recent record Eyes Open that shot them to the top of the Billboard charts with the massive hit single "Chasing Cars".

The band plans to release their next album in October after an interview with the Belfast Telegraph drummer Jonny Quinn revealed that the title to the record would be One Hundred Million Suns. The band has been recording in Ireland and in Berlin and according to frontman Gary Lightbody's official blog were listening to Crystal Castles, Portishead and Ladytron during that time. More details including a track listing and initial tour dates will be released soon.
