BB King Releases 'One Kind Favor'

Blues legend BB King is going back to his roots for his new record One Kind Favor. Often dubbed the king of the blues, BB King began making music nearly six decades ago. In the 50's he became one of the best known R&B musicians of the time and he began to make a name for himself as an amazing guitar player. At the age of 82, King continues to tour around the world and has influenced artists from U2 to Eric Clapton. In 2005, to celebrate his 80th birthday he released the album B.B. King & Friends: 80 that included artists like Sheryl Crow, Van Morrison, Elton John and John Mayer.

His new album One Kind Favor was produced by T Bone Burnett features a back up band that includes pianist Dr. John, drummer Jim Keltner and bassist Nathan East. The album features classic blues songs such as T-Bone Walker's "I Get So Weary", John Lee Hooker's "Blues Before Sunrise" and Big Bill Broonzy's "Backwater Blues".
