Alanis Morissette Takes 'Flavors of Entanglement' on the Road

Published: 2008-07-21
Canadian songstress Alanis Morissette is taking her latest album out on the road. Though Alanis was already a pop princess here in Canada the world didn't hear from her till her alt-rock album Jagged Little Pill was released in 1995. The album went two times diamond in Canada and 16 times platinum in the United States, received four Grammys and spawned hit singles like "Hand in My Pocket", "Ironic" and "Head Over Feet". Ten years after the release of the original version, Alanis re-recorded all the tunes on her biggest hits album and released Jagged Little Pill Acoustic. Over the years she continued to release top 10 hits including "Thank U", "Unsent", "Hands Clean" and "Precious Illusions".

Earlier this year she released her latest album Flavors of Entanglement. She gave fans a sneak peek of tunes on the new album on her tour earlier this year with fellow 90's alt-rockers Matchbox 20.

She'll be heading out on a headlining tour of Europe this August before returning to North America to start off the fall. She'll be making a few Canadian stops, here are the details:

October 8, Toronto, ON – Massey Hall
October 9, Montreal, QC – Place des Arts
October 11, Hamilton, ON – Hamilton Place Theatre
October 12, Ottawa, ON – National Arts Centre
November 4, Vancouver, BC - Orpheum
