Scarlett Johansson Gets Live on EP

Published: 2008-07-17
Though she's probably best known as an actor in films like Lost in Translation, The Nanny Diaries and The Other Boleyn Girl Scarlett Johansson has recently begun dabbling in music.

Earlier this year Johansson surprised music lovers when she released her debut album Anywhere I Lay My Head. The record was very specifically themed, consisting of covers of Tom Waits songs. The record was produced by TV on the Radio's Dave Sitek. It also featured guest vocals by music heavyweight David Bowie on "Falling Down" and "Fannin Street". The record met with mixed reviews and managed to eke its way onto the top 40 in some countries.

Earlier this week Johansson released an iTunes Live Session EP. The seven-track digital download features five tunes from Anywhere I Lay My Head plus "Innocent When You Dream" a Waits tune that does not appear on her album and a cover of The Cure's "Boys Don't Cry". Here is the full track list of her live EP:

"Anywhere I Lay My Head"
"Innocent When You Dream"
"Falling Down"
"I Wish I Was In New Orleans"
"Green Grass"
"Who Are You?"
"Boys Don't Cry"
