James Blunt Tours Western Canada

Published: 2008-07-15
UK singer-songwriter James Blunt is going on a short headlining tour of Western Canada this fall. Blunt went from unknown to household name in 2005 with the release of his ubiquitous hit single "You're Beautiful". Other singles off of Blunt's debut album Back to Bedlam also made it into the top 40 including "High", "Wisemen" and "Goodbye My Lover". In 2007, Blunt released his sophomore album All the Lost Souls and despite some less than favourable reviews it still managed to top the UK charts and spawn a couple more hit singles including "1973" and "Carry You Home".

Currently touring in Europe, Blunt will join singer-songwriter Sheryl Crow on her upcoming North American tour this summer. Following Crow's tour Blunt will return to Europe throughout the month of October before touring Western Canada this November. Here are the details:

November 17, Vancouver, BC - General Motors Place
November 19, Edmonton, AB - Rexall Place
November 20, Calgary, AB - Pengrowth Saddledome
November 21, Grande Prairie, AB - Canada Games Arena
November 23, Saskatoon, SK - Credit Union Centre
November 24, Winnipeg, MB - MTS Centre
