Jesse McCartney and Jordin Sparks Tour Together

American Idol Jordan Sparks and pop star Jesse McCartney are heading out on a co-headlining tour this August. Sparks is the most recent winner of the popular talent-reality-TV-show American Idol. Here debut, self-titled album was released in November 2007 and spawned singles "Tattoo" and "No Air" a duet with R&B singer Chris Brown. Sparks has already played some massive venues on tour, first as a part of the American Idols live tour and later as an opening act for Alicia Keys.

Jesse McCartney is known just as much for his teen idol status as his musical ability. Starting his music career in the boy band Dream Street he released his first solo record Beautiful Soul in 2004. Aside from music he has also done some acting appearing in All My Children and Summerland as well as guest appearances on Hannah Montana and The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. Along with releasing his most recent record, Departure earlier this year McCartney has been busy writing songs for other artist including a song on High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens' debut disc. He also co-wrote the number one hit single "Bleeding Love" for Leona Lewis with OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder.

Sparks and McCartney will be on the road throughout August and will make only one Canadian stop:
