Bob Dylan Continues Tour, Stops in Canada

Published: 2008-07-09
Legendary singer-songwriter Bob Dylan is continuing his never-ending road trip this summer. Nicknamed "the voice of a generation", Bob Dylan is one of the most important figures in rock n' roll history. Starting out as a folk singer in the sixties, his lyrics incorporated politics, social commentary, and philosophy. Tunes like "Blowin' in the Wind", "All Along the Watchtower" and "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" are rock mainstays. The song "Like A Rolling Stone" was voted the greatest song of all time appropriately by Rolling Stone Magazine. His most recent album Modern Times was released in 2006 and went to number one on the American Billboard charts. Earlier this year Dylan won a Pulitzer Prize for his "profound impact on popular music".

Touring steadily throughout most of his career, his time on the road is often referred to as the never ending tour. Currently doing shows in Europe, Dylan continues the never-ending tour with a new set of dates throughout North American this August and early September. The tour will include a couple of Festival stops including the American Virgin Festival in Baltimore and the Saratoga Music Festival in Saratoga Springs, New York. Dylan will make one Canadian stop, here are the details:

August 20, Hamilton, ON Copps Coliseum
