The Midway State Release Debut Album

Toronto rockers The Midway State are getting set to release their debut album, Holes, this summer. In spite of the fact that they have yet to release a full length disc the band already has a pretty impressive track record. The band is made up of members Mike Kirsh on bass, Mike Wise on guitar and vocals, Daenen Bramberger on drums and vocalist and pianist Nathan Ferraro. Coming together in 2002, they have released three EPs the first two self-titled and the last released in 2007 called Met A Man on Top of the Hill.

The Midway State has also toured with acts like Chris Daughtry, Fall Out Boy and Lifehouse. In 2006, they were featured on Much Music during the filming of their first music video, which marked the directorial debut of Steve Jocz the drummer from Sum 41. Recently, The Midway State was voted Fan Choice Award winner at the NXNE music festival in Toronto.

Their debut album, recorded at Metalworks Studio in Mississauga, Ontario is due out in Canada on July 22 and worldwide in the fall. Here is the track list for Holes:
