Sigur Rós Release New Album, Play Canada

Icelandic rockers Sigur Rós are heading out on tour with their new album Með suð ' eyrum við spilum endalaust. The new album, due out June 23, will feature the band's very first song recorded in English, "All Alright". The rest of the album and Sigur Rós' past albums have been recorded in Icelandic with the exception of the 2002 album ( ) that is recorded in Vonlenska or Hopelandic, a gibberish language of the band's own creation.

The new album, when translated to English means With a Buzz in Our Ears We Play Endlessly is currently streaming on the band's official website. It is also available for pre-order in both digital and CD format. Those who decided to purchase the digital version from the band's website will get their hands on it a week earlier than the June 23rd release date and receive bonus videos. A deluxe edition of the album including a 192 page booklet and an exclusive DVD will be available in mid-September.

The band is currently on tour in Europe where they will continue for the remainder of the summer. In the fall the band will hop over to North America where they will continue to tour throughout the United States and Canada. Here's where they're headed:
