Sloan Gears Up For 'Parallel Play', Tours

Published: 2008-06-09
Canadian power pop quartet Sloan is taking their new album on the road. The critically acclaimed group released their first album in 1992, but it wasn't until their sophomore release Twice Removed that the band began generating a lot of press despite the album's lack of promotion from their record label. In 2005, the band released a best of record called A Sides Win: Singles 1992-2005.

On June 10 the band will release their new album Parallel Play that features lead vocals by all four members of the band. Here's where they're headed on the road:

June 12, Toronto, ON - Mod Club (Converse 100th anniversary party)
June 13, Toronto, ON - Yonge-Dundas Square (free NXNE show)
July 12, Saint John, NB - Long Wharf (Salty Jam Festival)
Aug. 16, Chatham, ON - Rockstock
Aug. 23, Bala, ON - Kee To Bala
