Radiohead Albums Available on iTunes

Published: 2008-06-04
Britpop band Radiohead's back catalogue is finally available on iTunes. Starting on June 3 the band's first six albums were made available on the popular music downloading site and the same day Radiohead released a Best of album.

According to Billboard, "The band previously had a handful of songs on iTunes that were included on various soundtracks or compilations, and earlier this year, Radiohead's new album, In Rainbows was made available there."

The band had been holding out because they wanted their music made available only as entire albums and not as individual tracks, according to Billboard, "Technically, iTunes always had the option of selling Radiohead's back catalog, but only as full albums. Apple has to date refused to conduct album-only sales."

Radiohead finally decided to give in ever shortening the list of artists not available on iTunes. The Beatles, Garth Brooks and AC/DC are a few of the big name hold outs whose music still isn't available on the digital download site.
