Newlywed pop-rock star Ashlee Simpson has just announced the postponement of her upcoming summer tour. Simpson's debut album Autobiography made it to number one on the Billboard charts.
Simpson was supposed to head out on tour this summer behind her recent release Bittersweet World but on June 1 she posted a note on her website saying, "I'm really sorry to announce that I'm going to postpone my tour this summer". Though speculation has been that the tour was put on hold due to Simpson's recently announced pregnancy she writes, "The truth is I want to put on an amazing show for you the next time I come to your town. I promise I will be back, better than ever and ready to rock out".
